Excel Films struck it BIG with a biggie 'Don' last year. And now they are ready to strike once again, this time with a relatively much smaller film -Honeymoon Travels Pvt. Ltd. With Javed Akhtar saab penning the lyrics and Vishal-Shekhar composing for the film, expectations are only sky high from HTPL, which is directorial debutant of Reema Kagti and is being released overseas by new entrants Studio 18.
While the film is garnering a lot of attention through its innovative promos that first came out with the screening of Don and now are all over the telly, music is fast catching up too and is being keenly anticipated by those looking for their dose of something young, peppy and energetic. Well, the wait ends as the music of HTPL (on T Series) is exactly as per the expectations and scores highly in all departments to turn out as yet another beautiful soundtrack that should gain popular acclaim in days to come.
Are you looking for a song that would make you leave your couch and hit the dance floor? Then your wait is over as Sunidhi Chauhan and Shekhar Ravjiani get together for an amazing fusion number that is infectious to the core. With Indian folk fused with western arrangements, Sajanaji is a fun number all the way with a truly funky appeal. A befitting beginning to the album, the song is sure to bring the house down due to Kay Kay Menon's antics as he gets into a dance mode for probably the first time in his career.
If you have laughed along with Sunny paaji's moves in Yaara O Yaara [Jeet] , then you would roll over on the floors within minutes of watching the song on the screen. Kay Kay does well in getting into the skin of the character and dances as per the situation's demand to make 'Sajanaji' a song that would be seen for weeks to come. Mark it as yet another winner for Sunidhi Chauhan.
You have heard and would be hearing songs about a young girl dreaming of her prince charming to come and sway her off the feet. Now hear Jaane Hai Woh Kahan and you would certainly want to hear more of it by setting the song in a repeat mode. Shreya Ghoshal is restrained in her rendition and does well to go as per the pace required by the tune to come up with yet another beautiful number in the album.
If Sajnaji was all about letting your hair down, Jaane Hai is about relaxing on the couch and just waiting for the night to arrive to get into the dream world. This is what happens to the girl in picture as Shaan makes a late entry and creates an instant impression.Surprise surprise as two of the top composers come together to jam along for Albela Albela! And guess who they are? None other than Vishal Dadlani, who has recently delivered a superhit 'Dhoom Again' and Shankar Mahadevan who is anyways a regular when it comes to singing for the songs composed by him along with Ehsaan and Loy.
